The best way to experience Shori-Kai Karate is to join us for a free trial class. Whether you're completely new to karate or have trained before, you'll receive a warm welcome and have the opportunity to meet our instructors and students.

Membership

When you decide to join Shori-Kai Karate, there is a one-off membership fee of £30.00.

Your membership includes:

• Student licence
• 3rd party liability insurance
• Ongoing membership of Shori-Kai Karate

Your membership remains valid while you continue to train as an active member of the club.

Class Fees

Pay As You Go

Our flexible pay-as-you-go option allows you to train whenever it suits you.

• £7.00 per class for one student.

Family Discounts

We believe karate is even better when families train together, so we offer reduced rates for family members attending the same class.

Save with Pre-Paid Class Vouchers

If you train regularly, our 12-class vouchers offer excellent value.

One to One and Small Group Tuition in Karate and Self Defence

Individual Karate training is available to members and non-menbers at our partner gym in Salisbury City Centre, from £40 per hour. Please call or email for more information.

We also run bespoke group sessions such as ladies self defence and Duke of Edinburgh Award in Schools.

Karate Uniform

You don't need a karate uniform (Gi) for your first few lessons—simply wear comfortable sports clothing and bring a bottle of water.

Once you've decided that karate is for you, you'll need to purchase a Karate Gi, available from £21.00 (depending on size). This includes:

• Karate belt
• Official Shori-Kai Karate club badge

Our instructors will be happy to advise you on choosing the correct size.

Protective Equipment

To ensure everyone's safety during sparring practice, all students are required to wear appropriate protective equipment.

The minimum required equipment is:

• Hand protectors
• Shin protectors
• Gum shield
• Groin guard (male students)

Our instructors can recommend suitable equipment and advise you on when each item will be needed during your training.
